There is a temple of Mata Vaishno Devi inside a cave at this place. A spring is flowing outside the cave.

Due to less people knowing about this place, not many people come here now, but as this place is being known, people have started coming here.

So today we are going to take you to this hidden place and show you the gushing waterfall with Vaishno Devi Mata, so let's begin.

Visit and specialty of Vaishno Devi Temple

A rocky path has been made to reach this place located at the foothills of Nahargarh mountain. During the rainy season, one has to walk on foot due to water logging in the dam on the way.

Covered with Kadamba trees all around, this place has been the abode of saints. Due to being in the wild area, there is a danger of wild animals coming here.

The main attraction here is the spring which flows during the rainy season. People take a bath in this spring along with having darshan of Mataji. Children, women and youth take full enjoyment while bathing in the waterfall.

The waterfall falling from a height of about 30-35 feet looks very beautiful. Water fills in front of the waterfall, which gives the feeling of a small swimming pool.

There is a cave near the waterfall. Vaishno Devi Mata is enshrined inside this cave. Mother appears here in the form of Pindi.

Now some construction has been done in front of this cave and a tin shed has also been installed outside, but nothing like this was there before two-three years.

Earlier the small entrance of the cave was visible from near the waterfall but now you have to go through the tin shed to reach the cave.

The gate of the cave is very small in which one has to bow down to enter. In this cave of about 20-25 feet length, rocks are hanging at different places. You have to go inside very carefully after saving your head.

During the rainy season, water keeps dripping inside the cave. Inside the cave Maa Kali, Maa Lakshmi and Maa Saraswati all the three goddesses are enshrined in Pindi form.

It is believed that these three pindis had manifested themselves in this cave. On coming to the cave, it seems as if we have reached the court of Vaishno Devi Mata of Jammu.

A dhuna i.e. Havan Kund of a Mahatma named Prabhatpuri is built inside the cave. This dhuna has come in handy for doing penance to many saints.

A Shiva temple is built outside the cave. An old Shivling is established in this Shiva temple. There is a way to go up the hill from next to this Shivling.

On going up from here comes the place from where the water falls down in the form of a waterfall. This water flows from the top of the mountain, that is, ahead is the origin of this waterfall.
